Ma Ya Ka is a slang term humorously used to describe a 'henpecked husband' – a man who is excessively submissive to or afraid of his wife. It is a playful acronym derived from 'မယားကြောက်' (maya kyaut), meaning 'afraid of wife,' and coincidentally matches the acronym for the former 'Township Peace and Development Council,' a military-era administrative body.
